Dataverse Community Call Coordinating Group

Hi all,

GDCC and the Dataverse Project core team have been discussing how we could make the regular Dataverse Community Calls more inclusive and accessible for larger parts of the community.

To that end, we've come up with some ideas, including:

• Include more "non-technical" topics
• Reintroduce software and community updates followed by a Q&A
• Consider reintroducing time slots that are more accessible for other time zones than the Americas and Europe

We'd like to reach out to community for volunteers to form a group to coordinate the community calls. The idea is that this group would collect topics and speaker suggestions and reach out to other members of the community to moderate the different calls.

Sounds like a good idea. This can also make sure different target groups can attend according to what the kind of topic/perspective will be.
