v5.13 upgrade - running redetect to identify eln file types

Hi All,

       This is Jeya from NTU. We are upgrading from v5.12.1 to v5.13. Post-upgradation, we want to run redetect file type to identify eln files. But the redetect api command needs either ID or PID of files to be identified. 

        Search list of unknown fileType is too many (~39K).  I see that in Redetect files types during upgrading to dataverse 4.15, you have discussed about redetect All, but didn't proceed. 

        Can please advise how this redetect can be achieved efficiently?

Hi Jeya,

Perhaps you could try something like this: https://dataverse.harvard.edu/api/search?q=fileName:eln

The only problem is that you'll get more than .eln files. For example, the query above returns both of these:

- "name": "experiment-template (1).eln"

- "name": "G06296656_pWSLV-02-ELN-SNP26_EF1A-F_A02.ab1"

It might be a starting point, at least!
