Dataverse 6.5 is here!

Hi everyone,

We're happy to announce that Dataverse 6.5 is now available with several important bug fixes and new features.

Bug fixes. Dataverse 6.5 fixes the following bugs:

• We fixed a problem with Dataverse 6.4's subfield "Relation Type" (Related Publication) (see #10632)
• We fixed a dataset landing page problem where "Newest" and "Oldest" were reversed when sorting files. See #10742 and #11000
• The Guestbook UI form now checks the email address for validity. See #10661 and #11022
• We also fixed a problem involving deaccessioned datasets with a single previous version. See #9351 and #10901

New features. New release 6.5 features include:

• New API endpoints, including editing of collections, Search API file counts, listing of exporters, comparing dataset versions, and auditing data files
• UX improvements, especially Preview URLs
• Increased harvesting flexibility
• Performance gains
• And a security vulnerability was addressed
