Reporting on dataset/file size by user

Hi folks,

We're working on a collaborative pilot with a couple of campus partners at Berkeley that will provide hosting and storage of faculty datasets in Dataverse using storage hosted by one of the other partners. The service model is based on a default storage allotment, and accordingly, we need to track usage by users.

While I know there's been significant discussion of quotas for Dataverse (both as supported for collections and as desired for users), the existing implementation of quotas won't work for us. Instead, we're hoping to find a way to report on the storage size for all of the datasets for users with a specific role for a given collection.

Has anyone within the community written a query or other reporting tool to address this need or provide similar guidance?
