Good morning!

I've just installed Dataverse following the installation guide.
After installing, I could connect to psql server normally, use shibboleth too. In other words, I could use my data backup without problems, except for the fact that I coundn't see my uploaded files...
I think it is related to a problem with solr, since a I have the following messages in the Dataverse screen (it is attached too):

Internal Dataverse Search Engine Error - Please note: Due to an internal error, browsing and searching is not available.

IOException occurred when talking to server at: http://solr:8983/solr/collection1

I tried stopping solr service just to see how dataverse would behave, and It looked like the same, so it is like solr isn't "running" for dataverse.
Solr logs doesn't show any problem.

Could anyone help me, please ?
Best regards!
Alexandre

Instead of

... should it be "localhost" like

... or some other server? dvsolr.example.edu?

If so, the config option to change is :SolrHostColonPort - https://guides.dataverse.org/en/5.9/installation/config.html#solrhostcolonport

Anything in the Payara server.log?

Hi Philip, thank you for answering.
I found in Payara server.log an error related to postgres, I thought it was ok, but it isn't.
But now I have another problem. Database dvndb already exists (I had dataverse deployed in docker before, with this database in other server)
Now I am trying to deploy dataverse without docker and the install.py is aborting because dvndb already exists... How can I solve it without loss my database ?
best regards
