Dataverse 6.2, can't create Dataset

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with a new installation of Dataverse, version 6.2. I can't create a Dataset. The screen freezes, and in the logs, I see this error:
CommandException, when attempting to update the dataset: Command [DatasetCreate dataset:null] failed: Cannot invoke "edu.harvard.iq.dataverse.pidproviders.PidProvider.generatePid(edu.harvard.iq.dataverse.DvObject)" because "pidProvider" is null
However, the FAKE provider should work, as I find this in the domain.xml file:
<jvm-options>-Ddataverse.pid.providers=fake</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddataverse.pid.fake.type=FAKE</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddataverse.pid.fake.label=Fake DOI Provider</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddataverse.pid.fake.authority=10.5072</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddataverse.pid.fake.shoulder=FK2/</jvm-options>

I think you’ll need to set https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/config.html#dataverse-pid-default-provider to fake as well. Phil sent out an alert in https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/KwUTde5gzqk/m/zo3e5zK9AwAJ with more details.
