Dataverse Previewers v1.5 Release

On behalf of the community, the GDCC is pleased to announce the v1.5 release of the community-maintained Dataverse Previewers.

This release includes:

2 new 3D Previewers (VoyagerPreview, X3dPreview)
a Local Install script (modifies Previewers to copy all files, libraries, and fonts locally),
and updates to the :

Video Previewer (sizing,subtitles),
Spreadsheet Previewer (handle quotes in cells, keep column order),
Markdown Previewer (support for tables), and
HD5Viewer (security updates),

plus minor bug fixes.

These changes have been available in the previewers/betatest folder of the repository but are now live on gdcc.github.io (the previewers in the v1.5 folder will not be changed, the copies in the betatest folder will continue to get updates without any community notice.)

The install instructions in the README have been updated for v1.5.

Updating Your Dataverse Installation:

There are multiple ways to install/update your Previewers. The Dataverse Previewers repository has detailed instructions in the README file. In brief,

If you are using a local copy, you should download and install the latest release and then update your local Dataverse configurations. If you are using the Previewers served from gdcc.github.io, you only need to update your configurations.

To update your configurations, you can either delete the configurations for the v1.4 (or earlier) previewers you are using and run the example curl commands to add the v1.5 tools or you can update your database directly.
