Adding dataverse not success

Dear All.., 

I'm Newbie.., 

After installing the dataverse, i have some problem to add the dataverse .., 

if you don't mind to help me complete step to stable installation?

My first guess is that you don't have the Dataverse-specific schema.xml file in place in your Solr installation. Please see http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.5/installation/prerequisites.html#installing-solr

If that doesn't work please attach your Glassfish server.log file in an email to sup...@dataverse.org and let us know if you're setting up 4.5 or an earlier version.

Hi Shiva,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. You've found the right thread which should have the solution to your problem, which is to configure Solr with the Dataverse-specific Solr "schema.xml" file we ship with Dataverse. Please see http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.5.1/installation/prerequisites.html#solr for instructions on finding the Dataverse-specific "schema.xml" file and updating your installation of Solr to use it.

We should really improve the error message that users see in the GUI. The user in this case is probably a sysadmin who is standing up Dataverse for the first time and kicking the tires to see if it even works. Here's the issue tracking this: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2665
