I'm setting up Geoconnect following the directions at: https://github.com/IQSS/geoconnect

I emailed support and the ticket has closed so I think that part was done.   Then I set the Dataverse settings for :GeoconnectViewMaps and :GeoconnectCreateEditMaps to true.

Dataverse reconizes the shapefiles but I get this error:

error "gis_data_info" not available

Sorry! This request is not from a Dataverse registered to use the WorldMap.

This dataverse url was not recognized: https://test.dataverse.ucla.edu/file.xhtml?fileId=4994&version=3.1

Thank you,

Please keep us posted because I'm unsure if this is right.

Thanks,

Phil

I should probably put in an issue about the geoconnect documentation at <https://github.com/IQSS/geoconnect>, says to contact support with my URL and support but support replied that they can't help.

I've got a note sent to worldmap as you suggest above though it's too soon to hear back.

I agree with you that the README is confusing and should be re-written.

Personally, I'm not super clear on the process for using Harvard's installation of Geoconnect.

Hi Jamie. Phil and I spoke and he found instructions for adding "Registered Dataverses". I'm going to email you again with the support email you sent to make sure it works.

Geoconnect is connecting to our dataverse.  Thank you everyone for helping me with this.   It will make the geospacial people here happy.

That’s great news, Jaime! There are improvements that could be made to the Geoconnect user experience. I hope you will open some issues as your folks start to use it. :)
