As we move into the final days of April, we have two important updates regarding the Dataverse Community Meeting 2026 in Barcelona.

1. Final Registration Deadline: Thursday, April 30

This is a final reminder that the window for late registration officially closes this Thursday, April 30th. To ensure we have your details finalized for security and catering at the BSC and WTC venues, please complete your registration today:

2. New Satellite Meeting Proposals

We are pleased to share two additional session proposals that offer deep dives into specialized research data topics. We encourage you to review the attached proposals:

  • Ben Lewis: Can the Physical World Make AI more Trustworthy? Space, Time and Metadata in Dataverse

  • Łukasz Opioła: From Data to Publication and Back (Focusing on connecting active research workflows with repository publication)

How to Participate: If you are interested in participating in these or any other Satellite Meetings, please contact the respective organizers directly.

For the two sessions mentioned above, please reach out by May 3rd (contact details are included in the PDFs). We must finalize all in-person access credentials for the BSC venue by May 5th.
