Where is the dataverse mail configuration stored ?

Hi all,

 

I inherited an existing dataverse instalation and I am new to this software. I want to reconfigure the email settings of my installation

 

i looked at https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/config.html#id375   after that  i used asadmin list-jvm-options but the mentioned options are not listed but our system sends mails . Is there another config directory I am unaware of ?

Hello,

You're looking at the latest version of the documentation (v6.8). Mail options changed a few versions back, so try the documentation corresponding to your Dataverse version, for instance: https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.5/

Dataverse used to configure email using Payara’s create-javamail-resource command, but the preferred method is now https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/config.html#dataverse-mail-mta (was also in 6.5). Others know more about it, but hopefully that points you in a good direction.

Iam  running Dataverse 6.0 I found a JMS session which redirects to  a local postfix . 

Iam also looking for the actual message texts used by the system ?
