We are happy to announce MCP (Model Context Protocol) for the entire Dataverse data network! From now on, you can ask questions about datasets, explore multimodal materials and chat with files, and analyze or combine variables using AI. It’s multilingual, supports country level lookups, and is powered by the Croissant ML standard developed jointly by industry and academic partners.

We support cutting-edge IDEs, including:
Cursor
Visual Studio Code
Claude Desktop
Windsurf
Zed
