Hi Dataverse Community,

I wanted to share with you a very encouraging announcement I just received from the editors of Palgrave Communications who just published an Editorial on recent enhancements, in collaboration with Dataverse, to their editorial policy to further support transparency and reproducibility in research in humanities and the social sciences.

If you are interested in reading about their new policy, the editorial is here: http://www.palgrave-journals.com/articles/palcomms201513

In addition to discussing the changes to their policy (e.g. inclusion of a data availability statement in published papers) and the motivations for this, the Editorial mentions the creation of their own journal Dataverse, and links to two datasets they have deposited here as examples of good data sharing practice (https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/palcomms).

Thanks!

Eleni
