Hi Dataverse Community!

We're conducting a survey to learn how researchers rate different qualities of a data repository when determining which to use, part of our work to redesign the Harvard Dataverse homepage.

If you use or are considering using a data repository, or support researchers who do, please consider completing this short survey:

If you have any questions or comments about the survey, feel free to email me at julian...@g.harvard.edu.

Thanks!
Julian

We now have a new post on the Dataverse blog that introduces this survey. Read it here and help us out by participating in the survey if you have 5 free minutes!

Hi, Dataverse Users Community!

We would also like to thank everyone who took our Harvard Dataverse homepage survey!

To learn more about what researchers think of data repositories, we’re holding interviews this week. If you’ve used repositories to download data for your research or to deposit your research data, or if you’re considering it, we would love to hear about it. Please email me at julian...@g.harvard.edu so we can schedule a time to talk in person or remotely.

Lastly, there’s been interest in seeing the survey results, which we're excited to share. We plan on posting those in this forum thread soon.

Thanks!
Julian

Hi Dataverse Users Community!

We're finally sharing the results of this survey in a dataverse recently created so that we can continue easily sharing what we learn from our user experience research.

Thanks!
Julian
