Hi everyone,
My work on the validation of experimental data origins has reached a new milestone.
Titled "Validation of Experimental Data Origins: A Swarm of DAQ devices able to Deliver Unique Experimental Data using Blockchain‐like Fingerprint ID to a Data Repository" and it is available at the SSRN preprint server here:
http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.4210504This work enables experimental data logging to be directly uploaded to a dataverse while at the same time performing data authentication every time a new data record is created. In short, this improved type of experimental data collection in an experiment enables a scientific researcher to publish in higher-ranked scientific journals by providing a unique identifier, or fingerprint, for the experimental data hosted in a dataverse.
It complies with the most recent guidelines, the
NSPM-33 guidelines for scientific research by tagging an experimental data record to a researcher ID, for instance, ORCID.
Even better, it enables a journal Editor to view and do cross-validation of the experimental data while it is being created during an experiment. More on that later.
best regards
Miguel Tomas
