PhilI hope this helps,It sounds like you want to assign roles to users who have signed in with an Institutional Account, a Shibboleth account. First you'll need to create an Institution-Wide Shibboleth Group as described at http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.6/installation/shibboleth.html#institution-wide-shibboleth-groupsThen, you'll assign a role to the group you just created. Just like any group, Institution-Wide Shibboleth Groups, appear in the listing when you click "Assign Roles to Users/Groups".

Hello,
Is it possible to attribute a role when creating account in dataverse using " institutional Account"?
If true, what steps must I follow?
Best regards,
Michel
