Hi,

is there a simple solution for not using 7000k languages that ships with ISO 639-3 pack?

I'm glad there is such an option but in my opinion it would be good if it was somehow optional or maybe possibility to indicate your preferred languages which would appear at the top of the list.

Regards,
Jacek

Hi Jacek,

We definitely debated back and forth in https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/pull/10762 and related issues and PRs about if all the extra languages should be included by default or not. As you see, in the end we decided to simply include them.

I like your idea of being able to somehow include preferred languages at the top. Please feel free to create an issue about this!

Thanks,

Phil
