I need to export datasets from my dataverse in order to submit then to archivematica long term preservation package.

I've been told that the suggested format is the BagIt format.

After researching and reading documentations and forums, I am still confused, and I do not know if there is a specific API or GUI action to produce a standard BagIt file from a dataset.

Is there an utility/command or API in order to download a BagIt file from a dataset?
Thx a lot for you support.

FWIW: The documentation for the BagIT export is at https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/config.html#bagit-export . Exports can be triggered via admin API or workflows (e.g. to automatically generate the Bag when a dataset is published), but the design is to send the Bag to a configured store (could be Google Cloud, an AWS store, local file system, etc.) rather than delivering the Bag as a payload in the api call (large bags can take some time to produce). There are new options in 6.10.1 to support ‘holey’ bags (bags where you have to retrieve the data files later/separately), etc. that might be useful if you don’t need the data files all up front.
