File upload failing without apparent message

We are trying to upload a file to a specific empty dataset in our dataverse, which is at version 6.3.  The file seems to be correctly uploaded, but after a browser refresh, the file disappear and the dataset is empty. We do not get any message in the user interface. 

This is the same dataset that was full of 24.000 files, and then it has been successfully emptied. Maybe is this the reason?

Hi Dario,

Maybe. Have you tried uploading a file through the API? You could do so directly or via DVUploader:

- directly: https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.3/api/native-api.html#add-file-api

- DVUploader: https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.3/user/dataset-management.html#command-line-dvuploader

Please provide any output you see. Also server.log might provide some clues.

Is it possible to start over with a fresh dataset?
