Interesting how the University of Chicago (was federally funded) and has played an anchor role to the open data projects In Chicago.
IMHO need that institutional support for continuity of projects, research manpower, and computing facilities

If not U of T, perhaps York or Ryerson or OCADU may be willing to provide a similar role in TO?
