Datasets with free text fields

Hi Everyone, I am just starting to look into the datasets, and would appreciate if the group can help me to find dataset with the specific data. 

Have anyone came across a dataset(s) which would contain unstructured data fields? I am looking for fields with the free form text, something like description of an event, or text of a Tweet, or some other text data which was not generated by a user selecting a value from a drop-down list.

Any datasets you can point me to?

HI Irina, it would help if you gave us more context on the type of datasets you seek?

For example, Canadian, Toronto or International.

If you would like some international sets:

http://data.un.org/

If you want to collect new twitter datasets, try AIDR (my workplace tool in beta development) - http://aidr.qcri.org/

Hi Heather, thank you so much for your reply. I will start with the links you provided below. 

International datasets are good, but I would want to start with Toronto/Ontario/Canadian datasets. 

I would like to learn a little more about the tools that your company is working on, will send you a separate email, if you don't mind.
