First of all, I'd like to thank Open Data supporters making it real. Good job indeed.

Our mobile app is using curbside collection calendars to remind people when it's time to get bins out. However we recently discovered (the hard way - user down-rated our app listing citing to data inconsistency), that the data set is incomplete and thus cannot be used in production. After short exchange with Nicole from Open Data - Toronto, it turned out that the address originally referred to by unhappy citizen is on a 'nighttime collection route', which was not published until recently and there was no disclosure of such condition.

It would be good to get some indication from Toronto's Solid Waste Management Division whether we can hope for the better or exclude City of Toronto from our service area.

best regards,
Mr. Bin - The EnviroBot

Yeah, the night collection routes aren't on the open data site yet.
There are PDF maps and schedules here —

— but even if you could use them, they'll need work to import.

The curbside open data is from 2012.

cheers,
Stewart

Indeed something we have been asking for. Mean time, yes, workarounds via PDF et al.
