[from the City of Toronto's open data team]

Greetings to our fellow Open Data friends,

You may have already heard that we are hosting a very exciting event next week, where we will be working with our internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively develop an outline of the City's draft Open Data Strategic Plan.

More specifically, we'll be completing several workshop activities that cover the following elements:
·         Vision and Mission
·         Goals
·         Principles
·         Challenges we face
·         Approaches to overcoming those challenges
·         Mechanisms for governance and stakeholder involvement
·         Evaluation frameworks

We are very excited to be hosting this kick-off event, and we hope you can make it!

The event will be held on Wednesday, March 30th from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Metro Hall (room 308).

RSVP not required but appreciated –for any questions/details, please email
