Dear Friends of Dataset Search,

You are receiving this email because at some point we were in touch with you about Dataset Search or indexing dataset descriptions. We have a couple of things to share with you.

Announcement mailing list: This email is the only one that goes to your address. If you would like to receive future announcements about new features and changes in Dataset Search that are relevant to data providers please subscribe to this mailing list. It is a very low traffic announcement-only list.

Datasets in Google Search Console: The work that data providers do to comply with open metadata standards such as Schema.org or DCAT is essential for making data easy to find. We know this task is not easy. To help data providers make sure that their datasets have valid annotations, Google Search Console introduced a new feature - continuous and automatic validation of dataset metadata. To take advantage of this feature you just need to register your website with Google Search Console. You will then start receiving notifications if there are issues with dataset metadata in your repository. Fixing such potential issues increases chances of datasets provided by you to be discovered by users of Dataset Search.

Please feel free to share this email with your colleagues.

Thank you for your support!
