HDDs RAM reading error Device Error Detected SED DRIVE LOCKED

  Good day, I have a WD hard disk and pc3000 gives the error shown in the picture. I do everything in the video to solve the problem, but it doesn't work. Does anyone have a solution suggestion?

If it's Locked, then surely you need to unlock the ROM or use a unlock PCB to get SA access.  

I don't think you have the update on your PC3K  to allow you to unlock ROMS, so you will need to ask someone to unlock a  ROM, or buy in a compatible unlocked PCB.  

Either way, you will need to read ROM off first.

My computer doesn't see it. I cannot access the disk. I need to get the data in it. I added the rom file. I would be very grateful if someone could decrypt it for me.

Yeah, you can't perform any of these operations in the video you sent with these drives.  That's for old SED where you can block SA and shift regions etc and decrypt.  

Not in the lab till tomorrow.  Maybe someone else can help unlock the ROM for you today.

Also, this drive I've seen in the past comes from Mybook that have the triangular encrypted bridge.  Could that be your issue?  PC3K should be able to decrypt once you get in, but if it has the bridge, try over USB.

Good day, my problem still persists. Unfortunately, I don't have a bridge. I'm waiting for someone who can help me decrypt the ROM.

ROM unlock doesn't work for some reason.   Maybe it's not possible.

I've checked another GIANT rom from my database with the same model like yours, it says it's likely unlocked.

If it's encrypted sectors and the bridge is missing, then finding another bridge is best if you can't get the ROM unlocked or into the SA.
