The price you offer isnt convincing at all
Coz u say that need to pay 1 year TS

Its pretty much the same as buying a new 1 from ACE and getting 1 year TS included

Think about that

Used equipment shouldn't sell for more than 1/2 the new retail rate and I don't think I'd even consider it for more than 1/4 the new retail rate. That is my opinion, of course.

Yep. I think this has been for sale on HDDGuru for quite a while.

There is a reason it has not sold yet…….

You want almost full price and give no guarantees or returns.

I would buy from Ace with a full warranty.

I will not pay more than 30%.  Considering no warranty on anything + non-overseas.  I'm in PR which means anyone out of Australia has to fake an address to buy it and pay for the 1 year TS which will be a real Pain of Course.

Some time ago Ace offered me PC3000 UDMA + PC3000 SSD for 5000 Euros. That's about $7K AUD. These products are still supported and I see nothing on Ace's web site that suggests that Ace plans to obsolete them any time soon.

Furthermore, I notice that Ace now has an NVMe/PCIe to m.2 SATA adaptor to enable NVMe SSDs to be accessed via a SATA port.

https://www.acelab.eu.com/pc3000SSD.php

Therefore ISTM that PC3000 UDMA + PC3000 SSD + NVMe - SATA adaptor should handle everything, albeit with less ports than PC3000 Express.

That adapter only works on channel 0 of PC300-portable which is a custom NVMe port and not a traditional SATA.

Yeah, I see now. I thought that maybe it was a recent add-on for UDMA and Express, but it appears to be old news. :-(

I asked the guys from Ace if they planned to add the NVMe SSD function to the PC3K Express and they told me that it would not be possible. The storage controller used in the PC3K Portable is very different that the ones used in the UDMA and Express cards. The controller in the Portable is somehow better suited for working with NVMe drives....at least that is what I was told. ;-)

Ace should produce a cut down product to handle NVMe drives only, even if it is a crippled version of the portable. It is grossly unfair to expect all their UDMA/Express customers to essentially repurchase the same basic functionality that they already have.

I had suggested that to them very early on.  Remove the display, the 2 extra SATA ports and sell it as an add-on to PC3K UDMA-e and Express for an extra channel which is capable of supporting USB, SATA, NVME & SAS.

But, that said, I also suggested that they provide an add-on for SAS to allow SATA drive support because that card is far superior and allows for much faster transfer speeds.

They didn't seem interested in either suggestion.

DFL introduced this adapter recently - https://www.hddheadtools.com/product/sata-to-nvme-and-usb-smart/.  My guess is that it uses a couple of conversions internally, converting NVMe to USB and then USB to SATA, likely using very old chipsets, which would explain the slow speeds (30mb) and capacity limits (2.2TB).

So, as of right now, the best option is a USB stabilizer + USB/NVMe bridge or wait for the next generation stabilizer with a built-in NVMe port and then work with PC3000, MRT, DFL or any other Windows based product you'd like.

The question is does DeepSpar actually planning to develop this in their USB Stabilizer hardware, Last time I spoke with Serge, he did not/Could not answer that directly
I had one case with an Intel NVMe drive that I had to turn away
Spoke to the DFL people 2 weeks ago an they stated that they are developing Firmware capability to their USB solution for early next year, however not sure you can trust what they say in this case

Deepspar are increasing the capability of the Stabilizer, but I would be surprised if it included firmware fixes.

i turned them away after checking with another service provider that assured me there is nothing to be done with this particular model, however I will definitely call you
to set some cooperation if that is something that you will do
let me know when best to talk (I am in the GTA by the way)
