Currently I'm replacing rom from Seagate 2TB. This hard drive has a burnt PCB. I have been looking for a compatible donor PCB.
when I change Rom from donor PCB to patient PCB. Once replaced, the drive detects the device. but cannot access user data. Do you have any solution? Patient and donor lf PCBs are compatible and also ID. thanks

Wait a minute... You are using a donor ROM for your patient PCB??
You're joking, right?

Oh No. I used the patient ROM and replaced it on the donor PCB.

If you remove the PCB from the drive, does it still ID correctly?

Can you show us a photo of the burnt PCB?
