UA access like data encrypted after load T2 in ram

Hello 
Dear Expert 
I am working with a WD SMR 
as you can see in the picture the 
main issue was 190 dead and rom had a problem also.
I used donor Rom to access SA and BK all FW and found 190 issues and some Dxxx module errors 
after fixing 190 (52% data used) uploading to RAM and getting access to UA sector views like encrypted.
what is the issue with this HDD?
is it from Dxxx module error or others?

I am not too familiar with VeniceR as we don’t see a lot of them here.

But as it’s a newer SMR drive I suspect the ROM is tied to the MCU with encryption.

So you probably need to recover the original ROM.

It may also be because one of your bad modules is causing it.

But I would start with the ROM fix first.

The "active flags" for the 0x0B and 0x20B directories were switched. This made 0x0B the active directory when it should have been 0x20B. The modules pointed to by 0x0B have not been initialised.

If this doesn't work, I can copy the good modules over the bad ones. Just let me know.

I had a closer look. The ROM appears to have additional tampering. I have extracted the ROM resident modules from 0x129. Give me some time and I'll rebuild your ROM with these.

Also, it would probably be a good idea to upload module 0x109, as the ROM code may not be native.

The good news is that my case is solved 
HDD come with the wrong information
it a wd my book 2024 model 
due to encryption data is not recovered by the previous DR person and then ROM is killed.
now HDD is accessible UA.

How did you rebuild the ROM? Does PC3K/MRT have a function that rebuilds it from modules 0x109 and 0x129?

Is there a need for a tool to regenerate a ROM from 0x109 and 0x129? If so, I could write one.

I have written a tool. I'll upload it to the Oracle in due course.

The ROM has two halves. The second half is mostly empty because the code in 0x109 only accounts for the first half. I think the two halves correspond to different firmware versions.
