This drive is an 11mr8
I swapped heads from a 11gx6

and its not reading
then I swapped some weaker heads from another 11mr8 and its reading barely

I also have a 
WDC WD40NDZW-11A8JS0

I would have expected them to be pretty interchangeable


what is you experience

For MR8 you can try MR8, A8J, and Y94 . GX6 is not compatible. You can also try heads from a compatible 5TB in a 4TB.

I forgot one, you can also look for a 4 or 5TB  A8N model.

That makes sense
I tried several  gx6
And none worked
They didn't even microseek
So I suspected they were incompatible
There is no dcm on the label either
