This is WD Smartware and cannot be decrypted by PC3K. But there are a few people around who can do it.

If you have  DFL Card or USB Module they got a fix for some WD USB Drives. Does not works with all models but somaes can be unlocked with their products without knowing the password.

Good morning. I received a 320GB WD MyPassport yesterday that needs heads. The model number is WD3200BMVV-11GNWS0. There seem to be very few of these available out in the real world. Does anybody know the SATA cross-reference for this drive or a compatible drive for a head exchange? Thanks.

Previous drives (with matching DCM and HDA layout) I have used for this model that are not WD3200BMVV are:

WD3200BEVT

WD3200BEVS

WD5000BMVV

Most drives around this time were 4H (0,1,2,3).

Less likely but still possible are VJ/TJ DCM and V2/T2.

GNWS drives have a compatible SATA PCB only if FW revision is 13.xxx or higher.

For older FW revisions you would have to convert USB PCB.
