Hello 
I received another waste case HDD  2.5 TOSHIBA MQ04ABF100 
previous DR company replace head i think security sticker is open .

Hdd current status is BSY then ready with Full ID no SA and UA access. 
even in PCB mode can't read any CP.

can you share your experience with Mq04
1.this fw locked SA access?
2. Toshiba SMR MC issue?
3. current Head is not good?

Your ROM dump is corrupt. Can you dump it again? If you get the same result, can you then dump the physical ROM?

Are you dumping the ROM via terminal or in a chip reader?

I edited the errors to the point where I was able to extract the CPs, but many of the CPs were corrupt.

For example, here are the GO, HT and MN CPs. Notice that "HT" is misspelled as "hT".

I think your ROM is a 1.8V device. If you select a higher voltage, you
may damage it.

Your latest dump looks good. If you dump it again, and compare the two
latest dumps without error, then it should be OK. That's what I used to
do every time I dumped any memory device. I don't understand why people
don't do this.

I read and verified both. 

The second time, I did the same as you suggested: remove the device, reconnect, and read again, comparing it with the first one; the result was the same.

whe you boot the drive and the PC-3000 utility starts, you can see the G_list entires amount

unfortunately you can only see the entries amount, no way to interact with the G-List 

SIDE NOTE: we asked 1.000.000 times to Acelab to put a little of effort into MQ04 since they are now 10 years they are out. We asked also in first person in a meeting in Rome "we kindy need to clean the MQ04 G-List" since in Italy the MQ04 have flood the market

KIND REQUEST: seen the side note above YOU ALL IN THIS NICE DR GROUP ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO ASK THE SAME TO ACELAB ... maybe they will forget for a while such stupid PC-3000 PRO and will put some effort in MQ04s

when an MQ04 G-List has more than few hundreds entries there is no way to access LBAs and if you try to read in utility mode you won't find almost anyhting good

have you checked the s/n written inside the ROM?

read the ROM of a working MQ04 you have in the lab. Seek of its serial number in the ROM dump

this will give you the offset

then at the same offset seek for the s/n in the patient ROM' dump
