currupted rom bacall family .

hello gurus ,

I have received 1 seagate 1 tb hdd from bacall family drive wont spin but showing ready .SO i thought trhere was problem with servo ic .So i have replace rom to donor pcb but still same and donor rom with patient pcb is also working .SO ithink there was problem with rom .Here i have attached some pictures from seagate rom exxplorer pls any one can help .

Actually i loose hope because within 7-8 hours nobody notice so i havent check mail .But sir what to do ? how to off or on PUIS ?

I can disable PUIS with freeware. PC$20K should be able to do it.

PUIS is enabled and disabled using standard ATA commands. These commands are not vendor specific. What works for Hitachi will work for other drives.

If you still can't do it, use HDAT2. It's free.

i have return this hdd now pls give me where do i found PUIS FOUND . HOW TO ENABLE IT..As ihave PC3K UDMA .Pls tell me where do i fount this option as can have full id but no spin .

sorry gurus but i have just found it on pc3k .My bad luck as drive has problem with read write heads .2 times click n stop .So now may be for that reason drive itself use this option .Now let find donor and come again with result .Thank you pczbf and all who shown interest in my case and oncourse this group data recovery certification always get help here.Thanks again.

Don't write either of them. You have already fixed the issue with PC3K.
