I downloaded from HDD Surgery already but it only listed SgLDR.ldr in all the resources, and not sure if the APP and ATA can be extracted from that ?
Here it is.
Thanks

Yes, I know. The LDR has been encrypted/compressed by Ace. MRT used to do the same shit, but I cracked their shitty encryption.

I managed to get the same drive and I extracted the APP and ATA data, then I load the APP and ATA to the patient and for some reason, the PCB is dead with no comms output.
I loaded the backup ROM from the patient to the donor PCB and the drive spins up again, for the second time, I wrote the APP and ATA and the donor PCB is also dead.
What does this have to do with the ROM function on these models?
The problem is the drive powers on and stays busy with no funny head noises, and the terminal output is this: ““Read Ver Failure”, “Failed SYS SECT. Write” , “Unable to Load Overlay”
I tried the common fix option but it messes up the ROM in DFL, but I suspect a head swap will need to happen if there are no damage to the platters.
