Thanks a lot.

But I have a CS error when I use it as is :
Write ROM
From file............................... : C:\Users\Data Up\Downloads\ROM 2.28P\ROM_02-28P_02-29P_B1-3K.bin
Invalid checksum
Wrong check sum partitions.............. : 5A

I have a lot of this type error on these drives...

I have 2 identical drives that used to work fine. I unlocked the ROM and then nothing.

This ROM appears to have been modified (unlocked?). It is not the original, as far as I can tell.

I have a couple more of those moms that I can send.
Hitachi ROMs don't have an unlocked function.
The only modifications that are made are turning off auto-realication or changing the headmap in the nvram.
I recently had a Hitachi ROM corrupt itself corrupt itself.
I wrote the original wrong back and it was started working again.
There were some warnings about swapping boards on to foreign drives that it could corrupt the firmware so are you swapping the board onto donor drives to see what happens because that's possibility.

hello

you can see it from the board

this is a WD Palmer drive

so just check in your WD Palmer profiles for the same 02.28P, if  any

though we have some 100 Palmers profiles saved

:-)

you are lucky
