Remove SSD from enclosure and test. Many times the enclosure itself gets damaged or SSD is unseated.

interesting
never opened one of these
has an nvme stick inside.

Put the stick in a usb adapter and same.... comes up as 0 mb

Put the Sandisk in with no stick
or a known good stick
comes up same
Ids as sandisk
but 0mb

so maybe sandisk adapter - refuses wo talk to non-sandisk nvme's
or the adapter is failed also.

Thanks for the tip !

You may need to get help from some other Partner and/or Friend who can have their own tips and tricks to try and recover this unit using their own methods which sometimes they don't share with anyone else.  Perhaps you should try get help directly from ACE Labs if you have PC-3000 SSD and Support Service Active with them.
