Help Pendrive Kingston

Good afternoon everyone, this 32GB Kingston USB flash drive was received at the lab but has already been serviced elsewhere in the region. My question may be silly to some, but since I focus on HDDs and SSDs in flash devices, I don't know everything yet. It has the controller shown in the photo. If I want to replace the NAND with another one, does the controller have to be exactly the same, or are there compatible variations from the same manufacturer?

Search for 'SSS6137': this controller supported in all the three chip-off solution. But not an easy one:
