You don't need remove all ink of pcb, just using knife to made those pinout hole only, if remove all ink highly pcb short!

Personally I think that a terrible idea. Using a knife to remove the coating risks damaging the traces.

To answer the original question: AFAIK 'the rule of thumb' is anything above 100 MB/s is LDPC. So yes, this UHS III card uses LDPC.
