Scsi's have a wide variety of settings wide disconnect sync Terminator parity etc
First step is to get the settings to work and be able to test the drive in the scsi cards BIOS is it detected? Can you start reading it?
What kind of scsi card do you have?

I am currently working on an old ST-296N and with a bit of fiddling it is seen on an Adaptec 2950 card.
