DFL SAS -> SATA adapter

Hello,

has anyone used a DFL SAS adapter (https://www.dolphindatalab.com/product/dfl-sata-to-sas-adapter-plus/) on other tools than DFL?

Can someone confirm that this would work with MRT also?

A SAS HBA card will do the same job at a fraction of the price.

Hi Tim,

I have a bunch of SAS drives where I need to create a deletion report with my Drive Erazer Ultra and I was hoping this adapter would allow me to do that and also allow me to power-cycle, etc. a SAS drive on MRT if needed. Any dediated SAS tool would not make sence but that adapter could pay off with the 1st case...

Could you do this with HDDSuperClone/OpenSuperClone and a power relay PCB?

I tried a few SAS pci cards but I couldn’t disable the SAS port in Hddsuperclone or even use the direct Sata or AHCI over SAS interface so most of the powerful options is not available on hddsc. 

I suppose DFL SAS converter board will work on any tool so I would say get it.
