Long story short
At RecuperoDati299 we are very closely in touch with Acelab
in particular with Mr. Roman
The TRAGEDY behind SSDs is that the support is that except some popular and commercial controllers (and anyway there too it may occur the exception)
the tech mode enable and the translator tables read and the virtual translator build are reversed
ONE BY ONE on the base of that SINGLE SSD MODEL (read carefully: "MODEL" not "BRAND" nor SSD brand neither controller brand)
this EXACTLY mean that is a LOST CHALLENGE
PC-3000 support for SSD is the unique but given the amount of brands and models, you can count only on the cheapest Chinese unknown ones
then, when it comes Samsung and others, their encryption F** everything up
If you read my previous emails, I have exposed what we suggest since years now to Acelab
- the development model is totally wrong . Cracking/Reversing SSDs one by one will give the support ALWAYS TOO LATE. Since SSDs have a really short production period for that model, they will survive really shortly compared to an HDD so
- you will receive maybe some two or three in a life for that given model
- which 90% of the times won't be supported since NOT YET CRACKED
a total failure
What we insistently suggest and ask to Acelab (and you ALL too should ask with some nice tickets and or emails)
- approach the topic in "Italian Style Manner"
- send your best business developer to south east at some big SSD manufacturer site
- attempt to find an agreement to get tech modes and JUST the translator tables reading. As counterpart they will have the rights to put a label on the SSD conceptually similar the one Seagate sticks on the USB premium HDDs
- "in case of accident this SSD is supported by Acelab"
As soon they catches ONE manufacturer, the others will follow
------
If an agreement is not established with manufacturers, you can just forget SSDs recovery as "business"
since it will be just matter of a " big bottom " if you receive one that is supported
