I have a query from a customer for decryption of axcrypt data files (.axx)
These are old files & customer has lost password.
Is it possible to decrypt using any known technique?

Hi  Hanalog
Thanks for replying , latest version of axcrypt is based on AES 128 / 256 Bit encryption so decryption is ruled out.
However since this is SQL database I think repairs is possible. I have few cases where ransomware encrypted mdf was repaired (with some loss)
I am trying to connect with the same person but he is not responding.
I can get password details from customer but which tool I can use to bruteforce , if it is AES then its not worth to try.
Thanks

Mostly these can sometimes be repaired because the ransomware simply encrypted only parts of the file.
