Hi my friends, I have this WD WD20SDRW-11VUUS1 with PCB usb board 2060-800067-001 REV P1, it has a failure in the PCB on the usb I think it was cracked, when I press the USB by hand it turned on the led turns but it clicks read head and stops rotating after 3 seconds, I did another test using the pbc UNLOCKER sata board, the disk turns on and turns and has read head clicks and stops rotating and does not show the model and serial number only size 0.

follow the attached rom, I would like to know the serial number of that rom to see if it was changed or not and how do I transform this pcb board into sata which points I have to solder and which capacitors have to remove

Measure the voltage at the junction of the fuse ("S") and TVS diode. If you don't see 5V at this point, then reflow the solder at the fuse.

Do you have a 800065 SATA PCB so you can at least check if its head failure. You won’t be able to access data as the encryption is in the USB MCU.

hi my friends, I tested the fuse and diodes and re-soldered them but even so the board did not turn on and apparently the electronic components are good to see that on the usb input side of the board it was breaking and closing short remove the solder on one side of the usb pins and I did the test making a connection between the broken part and the tip of the multimeter follow the photos and videos, I have SATA unlocker 800065 PCB card

To me it looks as if the drive was dropped while the cable was plugged in. I would expect that soldering a bridging wire over the crack should fix the power problem.

I fixed many of these models with the same problem, if heads is good just swap ROM to the same USB pcb no need to hunt for a expensive Sata pcb if you dont need it.

Unfortunately Juan this particular drive has encryption in the USB PCB MCU. So just swapping the ROM will not work, you need to swap the MCU as well. So fixing the original PCB is the best initial course of action.

The transistor is merely an LED driver. When the collector voltage is low, the LED is on.

I don't understand where you are measuring +16V and -16V. Are you referring to the two diodes adjacent to the 470uH coil near the motor contacts? If so, then these voltages are as expected. I suspect they are the supply voltages for the piezoelectric microactuator.

yes the voltage of +-16v and close to the motor contact is really correct
where do I find

You appear to be having a brain fart. Search this page for "50 01" in your browser.

its hex  50-01
image.png
The first section is the address
image.png
next is the byte values in hex
image.png
Next section is the ascii interpretation of the hex bytes
image.png

Putting it  together
This shows that starting at byte address 000000:
Contains hex data byte 52 4f 59 4C...
If you look those bytes up in an ascii chart you find that
50 = 'R'
4f = 'O'  59='Y'  4C='L'
image.png

In the next row At address 000010 you have 30 which is ascii  '0'

The the next row beginning with address 000020 you find 50 01 at byes 2E and 2F
Those bytes continue in the next row
image.png
So the WWN for this is
50-01-4e-e2-69-60-94-78

Mod D is a ROYL module identified by the 'ROYL' signature
and D in byte 08
