The perspectives shared on

illuminate all sides of the data portability question -- including the
fact that one of the largest obstacles to examining the issue is the
fact that all the agenda afoot have never been daylighted.
When I read what the technologists have to say, and when I read
something coming from yet another interest group, it seems pretty
clear to me that
dataportability.org might be the place to daylight
the various agenda so that their interests can be understood and
addressed from all aspects -- technical, community, user and yes,
commercial.
Is this something we can do in the research initiative over the next
six weeks? Just literally list the various options on the table?
Meanwhile, it's clear that some major talent is part of this project.
Really great.
