Just heard of OneConnect, which basically spins around an OpenID-
enabled mobile Addressbook to also connect to social networks. The
site gives a pretty good idea: http://mobile.yahoo.com/oneconnect

Are there any Androids here? Could someone take this idea into reality
on the Andoird platform? I haven't really been into mobile, but things
change :D Would love to here about possibilities/problems/
solutions... thoughts at least.

All the best,
sebnem

My little thought of the possibilities on mobiles:

It seems OpenID on mobiles would be very popular (to me), since people don't want to fill out all the information with their little keyboard on registration.
Also, it would be awesome if OpenID can detects the phone number (I know Android can do that) to create a more secure identification (phone + username + password).
And it would be easier to synchronize real time data with mobile phone (even your current location?  Like IM?)

Cheers :D

We are working on an application for the google contest and its been a
bit nightmare.

Our prototype include an open-id provider on the design but still just
have a plain http server implemented from scratch.

We are working on something similar for the android challender. Hope to put it on open source after we win it :)
