please note that based upon the evangelism example, the "lead" is
simply the person who (a) initially proposed the idea, (b) is actively
running with the ball, or (c) is otherwise a placeholder until an
obvious leader for the activity emerges. please add yourself to the
list of "contributors" if you'd like to participate in the project.
ive put myself as lead of a couple of projects, but that was because i
was offline when i put the page together and had nobody to consult
with.

Richard I really like the approach you have taken here.

I wonder if we should not create a universal initiatives directory by
Action Group?

Or...

Maybe we put the Initiatives in context to the 'DataPortability
Questions' http://groups.google.com/group/dataportability-public/web/the-dataportability-questions
to help contextualize why the project is being persued and the sort of
question it plans to answer.

I really like the way you have initiative project leads etc.

The down side, of course, would be the Initiatives are listed by
Question rather than by Action Group - so that might make it a bit
harder to find?

I was thinking also that the Action Group projects should be listed on
the welcome text on the home page of each group maybe? But then this
is TWO lists to maintain? Not sure how to get around this

ive posted my thoughts on the addition of the projects to the
questions as a reply to the questions post.

im all for listing the projects within the welcome text of the action
group. id also like to see the responsibilities of the group here as
well. unfortunately, the only people who can do this so far are you
and jon, and i rarely catch either of you online (timezones being the
most likely culprit).

this is one of the key reasons i am still all for the introduction of
a group liaison. there are things we need to keep happening, advocacy,
cross-posting, admin etc. that are really quite difficult at the
moment.
