This is turning into a series!

Let's say you're an individual interested in DP and want to support it.
You have a blog and use a bunch of Web 2.0 websites.

1) Get an OpenID

2) Put auto-discovery links into your blog's HEAD section for that
OpenID. And create a YADIS file on the blog.

3) Produce an AboutMe page on your blog containing hCard information

4) Create a YASN-Roll on your blog. A block with links to your profiles
on all the SNs you belong to with rel="me" in the link.

5) Fill in your OpenID provider's profile page.

6) Write emails to your OpenID provider encouraging them to support AX
2.0

7) Write emails to your favourite web 2.0 properties encouraging them to
support OpenID as a consumer and produce FOAF about your contacts.

8) If any of them already produce FOAF put a link to it in your Blog's
HEAD section.

I think what would really help here, is getting concrete information
for users to follow. For example tutorials and guides for each action.
I will do a quick jab at some of them.

1. Get an OpenID
http://openid.net/get/

2. Put auto-discovery links into your blog's HEAD section for that
OpenID. And create a YADIS file on the blog.

Put this in the header between <head> and </head>: <meta http-equiv="X-
XRDS-Location" content="http://mydomain.com/yadis.xml" />

Create a YADIS file: http://openidenabled.com/yadis/creating-a-yadis-services-document

3. Produce an AboutMe page on your blog containing hCard information

A simple app that gives you the proper html to include:
http://microformats.org/code/hcard/creator
A guide on styling your hCard so it looks good: http://24ways.org/2006/styling-hcards-with-css

4. Create a YASN-Roll on your blog. A block with links to your
profiles
on all the SNs you belong to with rel="me" in the link.

This is not as well documented, but all you have to do is add rel="me"
to any links to your social network profiles or YASN. http://gmpg.org/xfn/and/
<< Has more information about rel="me" and a good explanation.

I think a more concrete tutorial or explanation would be warranted.
