Really not liking getting spammed when I am set to "no email"

This is not a good sign at all. There seems to be a fundamental
misunderstanding (it may be mine) that Data Portability is about
rights over data, ownership rights but also permission rights. If this
group is operating from a different assumption (and appears to be with
this latest spam, that even acknowledges the no-email setting while
still overriding that and sending a message), then I certainly cannot
abide. Sorry, I no longer trust this initiative.

Jeff,

Per my personal note to you, responding to your email, i apologize and
it was not my intent. I clearly indicated in the personal email
addressed to people who have been interested in the project in the
past that my intent was to anonymously reach out to people who are not
getting the daily emails through the group.

once again- i apologize but this was my own fault and appreciate your
comments and agree i should have not taken the liberty to personally
communicate the message.
