Next meeting?

Folks,

In follow-up discussions, there was significant interest in doing
another meeting, perhaps a less formal one with more time for
discussion, later this year. I'm thinking towards the end of Summer,
beginning of Fall. Ideally, we would co-locate this with another
major conference. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here is a list
of conferences and their locations in this rough time frame:

SIGGRAPH 2007, San Diego, CA, Aug. 4
Euro-Par 2007, Rennes, France, Sept. 1
ICFP 2007, Freiburg, Germany, October 1
LCPC 2007, Urbana, Illinois, October 11
Supercomputing 2007, Reno, NV, November 10
Micro-40, Chicago, IL (Brrrrrr), December 1

Personally, I'd prefer co-locating with ICFP 2007 (Freiburg, Germany,
October 1). Simply, because I will attend ICFP anyway and bundling
overseas events makes a lot of sense when you live in Australia.

PS: I thought that message here would also be emailed to us, but that
doesn't seem to be so (or did I overlook something). I am not sure
how many people will check this page regularly.

ICFP is my personal inclination as well...I can combine with some
local business and site visits.
