After speaking with Chris Taggart about getting a mailing list going
to help organize app development for the upcoming Hackfest, we
realized that we should just use this list.

Please use this mailing list to talk about:

* What you'd like to contribute: are you a developer? A designer?
Librarian? Geographer? Interested citizen? Omnivorous data monger?

* What are you into? What sort of app are you working on or want to
see happen?

* Which data sets are you looking for? What have you found or scraped?
