I 've got speeds of about 1.1 MBPS to 1.2 MBPS .

Here at Tattamangalan BSNL has installed a new 128 port system. That
one is getting good speeds . The max I have seen is 1.6 mbps ( not at
my place though ) . As far the old 32 port one is concerned , it's max
speed is still 300 kbps or so.

What I found today is :
Your current bandwidth reading is: 452.60kbps which means you can
download at 56.58 KB/sec. from our servers.
I do not know if this is really correct.

I think, that is correct Col.

Here at Tattamangalam Exchange they use 2 type of systems. Old system
is getting lower speeds when compared to the new one which is getting
up to 1.6 MBPS in some places.
